Why we exist
Dating with an STI can bring difficult questions about disclosure, privacy, rejection, and trust. Hero Mayor exists to make the first step feel more human: a place where shared understanding can replace explanation and where people can meet without shame.

“Hero” speaks to the courage it can take to date honestly and choose hope after a diagnosis. “Mayor” represents someone who helps a community feel welcoming, connected, and safe. Together, Hero Mayor is a distinctive name for people who lead with empathy in this dating community.
